Primary Duties:
The Accounts & Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company while ensuring efficient administrative processes. This multifaceted role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Specific Duties:
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable, and receivables
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Assist in general administrative tasks, including document management, filing, and data entry.
Processing employee expense and payroll reports
Providing support to the Accounting & Administrative Manager
Other accounting support duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes:
Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Windows software
Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing environment
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
A diploma or degree in an accounting field or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. An acceptable combination of education and experience in a relevant position.
Employment Specifics
Permanent full-time (80%) position
23$ per hour
30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday in office
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a clear vulnerable sector search and child abuse registry check
